How Block Stack works
Pieces fall into a 10×20 well. Move them left and right, rotate, soft-drop, or hard-drop to lock. A full row vanishes and everything above shifts down. Clearing several rows at once scores far more. Use Hold to park a piece for later. The ghost shows where the piece will land. The game ends when a new piece cannot spawn.
Why people stay for another round
Line-clearing is the original endless puzzle. Block Stack uses a 7-bag randomiser so you are never starved of a piece for long, a lock delay so last-second slides feel fair, and a gravity curve that starts gentle and becomes a dare.
Tips
- Keep a well on one side for the long bar.
- Hold the first piece if it does not start a clean stack.
- Hard drop when you know; soft drop when you are threading a gap.
Stack tetrominoes, clear lines, and ride the gravity curve. Hold, ghost, and next-queue included. Controls: Move: arrows or A/D. Rotate: Up or X / Z. Soft drop: Down. Hard drop: Space. Hold: C or Shift. On mobile, use the buttons under the well.
