How Gem Cascade works
Select a gem, then select an adjacent gem to swap. The swap only stays if it makes a match of three or more in a row or column. Matched gems vanish, gems above fall, and new gems drop in from the top. If that creates another match, the cascade continues and the multiplier climbs. If a swap would not match, the gems slide back.
Why people stay for another round
The pleasure is not the first match — it is the third and fourth that you did not fully plan. Gem Cascade keeps the board alive with gravity and refill, so a modest swap can collapse half the grid. Endless play, no move cap, just a rising best.
Tips
- Look at the column above a match — that is where the cascade is born.
- L and T shapes clear more than a straight three.
- If the board feels stuck, make a match that opens the middle.
Swap adjacent gems to make a line of three or more. Gravity and fresh gems can set off huge cascades. Controls: Tap or click two neighbouring gems. You can also drag from one gem onto the next.
