How Maths Blitz works
A sum appears with four possible answers. Tap the correct one (or press 1–4 on a keyboard) before the timer runs out. A correct answer adds score, grows your combo, and refunds a sliver of time. A miss costs a life and breaks the combo. Difficulty climbs as you rack up points: first addition, then times tables, then mixed operations. The round ends when lives hit zero or the timer empties.
Why people stay for another round
Maths Blitz is the ‘just one more round’ game for anyone who likes numbers under pressure. The combo meter turns ordinary sums into a flow state, and the difficulty curve is tuned so a rusty times-table still feels winnable — until it suddenly is not.
Tips
- Scan the answers before you finish the sum — distractors are close on purpose.
- Protect the combo. One careful second beats a panicked guess.
- Use keys 1–4 on a computer; they are faster than the mouse.
